The 42-year-old passed away on Sunday, June 10, at his mother's Missouri home around 6:30 pm.
"Given all of Neal's medical problems, there was no reason to do an autopsy," Amick told RadarOnline.com.
In 2017, Boyd was involved in a terrible car accident after he reportedly blacked out behind the wheel.
The wreck left both the star and his mother badly injured.
He won season three of AGT in 2008.
