'We Are Silent No More': Busy Philipps Reveals She Was Raped At 14
The same day Christine Blasey Ford testified in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about allegations Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her, Busy Philipps has claimed she was raped at just 14 years old, RadarOnline.com has learned.
“This is me at 14. The age I was raped. It's taken me 25 years to say those words,” she wrote on Instagram. “I wrote about it in my book. I finally told my parents and sister about it 4 months ago.”
Philipps, 38, went on to detail how Ford’s testimony helped inspire her to reveal her own past.
“Today is the day we are silent no more. All of us.” She continued. “I'm scared to post this. I can't imagine what Dr. Ford is feeling right now.”
The Cougar Town star has been outspoken in the past about those accused of sexual assault.
Philipps bashed Brett Ratner after he was accused of sexual misconduct by six women, including allegations that the Rush Hour director masturbated in front of actress Olivia Munn when she came into his trailer to deliver his food during a day of filming.

After Munn’s story went public in 2017, Philipps went on a fiery Twitter tirade:
“Olivia Munn has been saying this for years and he has been disgusting about the allegations and to her for years. He is a garbage human,” wrote Philipps.
Supreme Court nominee Kavanaugh has been grilled throughout the day about allegations he sexually assaulted California professor Ford, now 51, more than 35 years ago.
Kavanaugh has staunchly denied the allegations.
Philipps' first memoir, This Will Only Hurt a Little, will hit bookshelves on October 16.
