Aaron Hernandez was sexually abused by teenage bully when he was just six years old, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.
The Former New England Patriots star, who famously committed suicide in his prison cell on April 19, 2017, was forced to perform sex acts on an older boy at his babysitter’s house, his brother Jonathan claims in a new tell-all book.
In The Truth About Aaron, Jonathan writes about how he remembered the incident: “This boy, who was in high school, frightened us. He was a bully and his brother scared us with knives that he flashed at us.”
He then described how the boy had forced Aaron into a tent during a game of hide and seek, and how his brother would not talk about it afterward.
In 2017, a few months before he hung himself with a bed sheet, Aaron confided to his mother, Terri.
Jonathan wrote: “He told her how the older boy would force him to perform oral sex. Aaron said it started when he was six years old and continued for several years.”
Jonathan details in the book how his brother struggled with his sexual identity and to come to terms with his preference for men.
He eventually confided in his mother but asked her to keep his secret.
When Jonathan asked Aaron if he were gay, he lashed out and demanded he never ask him that again or he'd kill him.
Aaron also confided to lawyer George Leontire while he was behind bars, saying he felt the abuse was a factor in his being gay.
Speaking on a podcast, he said: “Hernandez seemed to think the sexual abuse had made him gay.”
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Aaron was found guilty of first-degree murder in the 2013 killing of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole, but only served two years before he took his own life behind bars.
