Bethenny Frankel, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of New York City, has been single for a year since her on-again, off-again boyfriend Dennis Shields tragically passed. But a new man has entered her life, Paul Bernon.
Bernon — a producer and realtor — was first spotted making out with Frankel in October of 2018, but things have gotten hotter and heavier ever since. Who is this guy? What are his credentials? And does he deserve Frankel?
Frankel likes to say “mention it all” but thus far she hasn’t mentioned much. Take a deep dive and get to know more about the man who could be a real husband to the Real Housewife.
Bernon has two degrees. His earned his Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies at Boston University. He then received his Master’s Degree in Real Estate from New York University.
2. Managing Partner.
Bernon serves as managing partner at Rubicon Real Estate, LLC. The company owns and manages investment properties in Utah, New England and Texas. And his other job?
3. Master Producer.
Bernon’s second career is also cofounder and partner of an L.A. based film finance and production company called Burn Later. They produced Drinking Buddies — a 2013 film starring Olivia Wilde and Anna Kendrick.
He’s also a father. He had two kids with former wife Ashley Bernon before divorcing in September of 2017.
Bernon has a residence in the Greater Boston area while Frankel lives in New York, so they each have a place to retreat to if they need some space.
Bernon was by Frankel’s side as she went through the traumatic custody trial with her ex-husband, Jason Hoppy.
EMILY’s List is a political action committee dedicated to getting people to vote for pro-choice Democratic women. Bernon is both a board member and founding chair of its Creative Council.
Bernon’s also a Grateful Dead fan. He was pictured in a fan shirt on her Instagram account. When a stranger inquired if he was a Deadhead, Frankel responded, “Indeed.”
Bernon brings calm to Frankel’s life. She told LIVE with Kelly and Ryan that "My boyfriend's very calm and centered and balancing and I'm just settled."
