Nevaeh is very well,” Janice told Radar. “I don’t think it’s been hard for her. I don’t know if it will be in the coming years. She’s doing well in school. I took her to a grief counselor, which she didn’t need.”

Janice explained how Nevaeh only saw Valerie once or twice a month before she had full custody. “Because her mom wasn’t living here at the time, it made it easier on her,” she explained. “She’s still in the house she’s grown up in.”

They keep Valerie’s memory alive by “talking about her all the time.” “She has a necklace with some of her ashes,” she explained. “Ashes are in her play room too. She also has flowers from the service.”

Janice revealed how baby daddy Matt Pryce is still involved in his daughter’s life. “Yeah he sees her every Saturday,” she said. “We try to keep Matt involved. He has his own problems. She doesn’t always want to see him. We try and rearrange things so she doesn’t miss out on birthday parties and other activities.”
