Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott are the first to admit that they have been struggling financially over the past few years. But now, RadarOnline.com has learned, they've hit a new low. A source close to the couple tells RadarOnline.com that because of their financial problems, they've had to move homes yet again!
“Tori and Dean did the moving themselves to save money,” the source tells RadarOnline.com. “They are having money problems. This is why they moved and downsized.”
“They have busy schedules, so Dean took it upon himself to make it easier on the family to handle all of the logistics of moving,” the source says. “He didn’t outsource it to a moving company or assistants to organize — Dean was in charge of everything.”
McDermott didn’t do all of the heavy lifting himself, though. “He hired people to help him physically do some of the stuff,” the source says. “He can’t lift couches and beds by himself.”
But he didn’t use a traditional moving company to do all of the work. Instead, “he rented a U-Haul truck,” the source says.

Spelling and McDermott then made a family day of it. “They saved money and they used it as a family bonding experience,” the source says.
“They seem like they are in a good place in their relationship,” the source says. “They both acknowledged that this was something they had to do for their family at the moment.”
“They are still living in a beautiful home,” the source says. "Just by Tori Spelling’s and her father Aaron’s standards, it’s obviously far more limited than the past extravagant mansions that she’s lived in."
"They are very happy with the new place, but it’s a much smaller home,” the source says.
“Tori acknowledges that it is obviously a downsize, but she’s okay with it,” the source says.
This wasn't a permanent move, though. “They’re renting,” the source says. “Tori realizes that this isn’t where they are going to settle forever. It’s just where they are right now.”
