Dan Aykroyd
Dan Aykroyd ain’t afraid of no ghosts. Or is he?
The O.G. Ghostbuster told Esquire magazine in 2013 that he once lived in a Hollywood home haunted by of all people, Mama Cass of The Mamas and the Papas – the original owner of the abode.
“I had several experiences. I saw things moving around on our counter, and doors opening and closing…Somebody crawled in bed with me once,” Aykroyd revealed.
Country singer Robbie Williams was a believer in Aykroyd’s claims – especially after he had a similar experience while renting the same home.
In July, Williams admitted he had felt a spectral presence in the house as soon as he moved in and said to the spirit: “I know that you are here and I am going to respect your space. I please ask you to respect mine as I am scared of you.”
Miley Cyrus
Miley Cyrus' close encounter was so traumatizing, she was forced to move out of her London apartment and into a spook-free hotel!
“One night, my little sister…was standing in the shower and all of a sudden, I hear her scream,” Cyrus told Elle UK in 2013. “I run in there and the water had somehow flipped to hot but she hadn’t turned it and it was burning her. She was really red.”
Ariana Grande
Pop singer Ariana Grande claims to have been “haunted by demons” ever since she visited Kansas City, Missouri’s Stull Cemetery with friends in August 2013. They didn’t get very far into the graveyard — which according to Grande “is known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth” — before strange things started happening.
“I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon…” Grande told Complex. “I was like, ‘This is scary, let’s leave.'”
It was only after the fact that something eerie truly took place. “I took a picture and there are three super distinct faces in the picture — they’re faces of textbook demons,” the singer said.
Kesha
Singer Kesha not only admitted to seeing a ghost but also getting jiggy with one!
“It’s about experiences with the supernatural … but in a sexy way. I had a couple experiences with the supernatural,” she claimed.. “I don’t know his name! He was a ghost! I’m very open to it.”
Matthew McConaughey
Mathew McConaughey is apparently a heartthrob in the afterlife as well. The Magic Mike hunk says he encountered an old host named Madame Blu when he first moved to L.A.
"She has no qualms with me. We get along just fine,” he explained. "She’s a cool ghost. Maybe me being nude all the time is why we get along."
Keanu Reeves
Whoa! Keanu Reeves may be a master at phone booth time travel, but staying still in one place apparently invites the supernatural.
“I was living in New Jersey when I saw and felt this ghost,” he recalled on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2014. “I remember just staring at this suit, which had no body or legs in it as it came into the room before disappearing. It was a double-breasted suit in white, and I looked at my nanny, who was just as shocked as me. I just couldn’t get back to sleep afterwards, and I still see the figure in my dreams.”
Demi Lovato
“I totally believe in ghosts,” Demi Loavto admitted, recalling one incident when she was 8 years old. “I saw a little girl. She was dressed like she was from the 1800s, and was standing in my closet.”
Selena Gomez
Who needs Tinder when you have a ghost app? “I believe in ghosts, so I have a ghost app … I believe that spirits can tap into technology. Why not, right?” Selena Gomez admitted on The Tonight Show .“Look, I was in a venue and it actually said people in my life by name.”
Lucy Hale
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale claimed in 2010 she was living with a ghost when freaky things were happening around her home. She said that her coffee machine would turn on by itself and she would hear doors closing. But what ghost doesn’t want a good cup of joe in the middle of the night?
Kate Hudson
Ghosts are no big deal for Kate Hudson, who admitted in the special disc set of her 2005 horror flick, The Skeleton Key, Hudson recalled a spooky supernatural story about a home in London once rented by her mom, Goldie Hawn. "I've seen ghosts plenty of times," Hudson said. "I've seen a ghost of a woman with no face, and that was really creepy." The actress later clarified her comments on a U.K. talk show. "It's a fifth energy," she said. "When you see something, you are supposed to tell the energy what year it is and that they don't belong."
