Becca Kufrin’s 25 roses may have a few thorns! From an alleged beat down to a secret marriage, check out this season’s Bachelorette contestants’ most shocking secrets and scandals.
Contestant Alex Templeman was hit with a lawsuit on July 3, 2017 for battery. In court papers exclusively obtained from Dekalb County Court in Georgia, alleged victim Salvatore Nappo accused him of “committing an unprovoked physical attack on the plaintiff with his fists, therefore committing battery.” The plaintiff claimed he suffered “serious and extensive bodily injury.” He is asking for $2.5 million.
But Templeman denied the allegations against him in his response to the complaint. He claimed he was acting in “self-defense.”
RadarOnline.com exclusively obtained photos from Nappo’s lawyer of the alleged beat down. In the photos, Nappo could be seen with two black eyes. Nappo’s lawyer told RadarOnline.com of the alleged attack, “Templeman and Nappo belong to a circle of friends. He was making derogatory comments to him over text and then he brutally assaulted him. He busted open his eye socket, leaving it fractured. His nose was busted up pretty bad.” The case is pending.
Broke bachelor? Clay Harbor was hit with an eviction notice on July 20, 2010. The court papers obtained from Circuit Court of Greene County in Missouri read, “The defendants do have a signed rental agreement for the premises providing that defendants pay $462 per month on the leased premises. The defendants are in arrears and there is now due an unpaid rent in the amount of $146.25.”

Rumored frontrunner Garrett Yrigoyen was once married – and it only lasted six months! Court papers obtained from Nevada Judicial District Court reveal Yrigoyen and his then-wife Kayla filed a joint petition for divorce on March 23, 2016. “Petitioners allege and state they are incompatible in marriage,” the petition for divorce read. “They can no longer live together as husband and wife and there is no possibility of reconciliation.”
The divorce was finalized on March 25, 2016. They were married in California on September 19, 2015. No spousal support or alimony was awarded to either party.
