Bookout, 26, will appear on the celebrity edition of Discovery Channel’s Naked and Afraid, a survival show where contestants are stranded without food or water while completely naked!

“Filming lasted like three days,” a source close to Bookout told Radar. “Ryan Edwards and his wife Mackenzie watched her son Bentley while she was filming.”

Although Edwards and his wife weren’t fans of Bookout being naked on television, they had no problem with her leaving the 9-year-old to film the show. “They thought it was awesome she was able to experience that and be able to show she can make it in the wilderness,” the insider said.

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report on the mother-of-three’s new role. “Maci spent a great deal of time training for the show before she left,” a source told the website. “She got to bring a few extra ‘personal’ items than the typical contestant on the show, but other than that, she didn’t get a lot of special treatment.”

The X-rated role comes after Bookout’s co-star Abraham was fired from the series because of her return to the adult film industry and her harsh treatment of the crew. A source told The Ashley her contract for Teen Mom OG was not affected.
