Lonely Father’s Day! Jenelle Evans’ Husband David Unable To See Daughters On Holiday
June 14 2019, Updated 6:39 p.m. ET
It wasn’t a happy Mother’s Day for Jenelle Evans – and it won’t be a joyous Father’s Day for her husband David Eason either.
RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal the fired Teen Mom 2 dad won’t see his daughter Ensley, 2, with Jenelle and his daughter Maryssa, 11, from a previous relationship on the holiday.
As RadarOnline.com has extensively reported, Child Protective Services removed all of Jenelle and David’s children from their care in May 2018 when he shot and killed the family dog.
After a series of court hearings, a judge ruled for the children to be temporarily removed from their care.

Lonely Holiday
“David is not seeing Ensley or Maryssa for Father’s Day,” a source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com. “They see the kids once a week, so it won’t fall on Father’s Day.”
Trying To Improve
The insider added that Jenelle and David have been working hard to regain custody of their children, as they have been “focusing on a lot of therapy.”
Seeing The Kids
Jenelle, 27, and David, 30, had visitation with the children on Monday, June 10. “It went fine,” a second source told RadarOnline.com. “Jace and Ensley went. Barbara is overwhelmed with everything, but she’s making it work.”
R.I.P Nugget
In April, David shot and killed the family’s dog Nugget. He admitted to the sick act in an Instagram video where he defended himself, claiming the dog bit Ensley. But in the clip, Nugget could be seen harmlessly nipping the toddler.
CPS Investigation
Soon after the shooting, Jenelle was fired from Teen Mom 2. (David was fired a year prior for homophobic social media comments.) But it got worse for the couple, as CPS ordered her baby daddy Nathan Griffith’s mom Doris to pick up Kaiser, 4, from day care on Friday, May 10, which was Mother’s Day weekend.

Jenelle’s mom Barbara, who has full custody of her son Jace, was ordered to keep him at home for Jenelle's weekend visit. Ensley and Maryssa were later removed from the home as well.
Shocking Testimony
After five court hearings, a judge told Jenelle that she “failed to protect the children while they were in her care.” The source previously told RadarOnline.com, “The judge heard testimony that David and Jenelle were constantly screaming and arguing, and the children were terrified.”
Bad Environment
The insider added, “CPS described the state of the home as horrific. It was filthy and there were holes in all of the walls.”
Hard At Work
A second source previously told RadarOnline.com of their effort to regain custody of the children, “She signed up for parenting classes and marriage counseling. They’re looking to get David a psych evaluation for court."
Better Without The Kids?
But therapy isn’t the only thing Jenelle and David have been doing to keep busy without the kids. The two took a secret trip to Washington D.C., which RadarOnline.com exposed, after a judge ordered the children to be removed from their care.
Happier Times
Jenelle has also been posting photos of vegetables and fruit from her farm, and throwback photos of the children.
