Blast From The Past! 20 Photos Of Sofia Vergara From Childhood To Today

Sofia was just a young teen when this black-and-white photo was taken, but it's clear she had that It-Girl look even then! She'd been in dentistry school but was offered a modeling job—and the rest is history! She landed several gigs, including a starring role in a Pepsi commercial.

Sofia was only 18-years-old when she had her son Manolo. In another life she could have starred on Teen Mom.

"My life as a mother has been hard, but not a nightmare," she said in 1993, according to reports. "I do like all working moms do. No life is perfect. What I do, it's part of life." And Manolo couldn't look cuter!

Is that Menudo in the background? Whoever it was, Sofia and her young friends were enjoying an outdoor concert in the sun.

The lights, the sound, the crowd; Vergara loved clubbing as a kid. The streamers on the floor suggest the night was over—but her career was about to take off in ways none of them could have imagined.

Vergara's role on Fuera de serie saw her in some fun outfits and doing some outrageous things. And she looked amazing doing it too!

In 2005, Vergara attended the ABC Upfront Party, a bash to celebrate their new fall shows. But this was still four years from the debut of Modern Family—and she had no idea what was to come for both her and ABC.

The same year that Lords of the Dogtown was released, Vergara also starred in Four Brothers. At the premiere, she shone in an elegant black dress. She was a beautiful woman in charge now—no longer just that cute little kid.

By 2006, Vergara’s son Manolo was no longer a little boy—but Vergara was (and still is) very much his mom. Here they’re eating lunch in the Village in NYC where we’re reminded no one ever gets too old to have their mom feed them some good food! Nom nom!

Despite the growing intensity of the paparazzi thanks to her bigger profile, Vergara still kept her feet firmly on the ground with her then-hubby Andres Lopez. Here the two were just hanging out in Soho, enjoying a wintery February day and still looking like a million dollars.

By 2010, Vergara and her husband Andres had gone their separate ways and she was now dating Nick Loeb. You can bet he was enjoying the privilege of applying her suntan lotion as they vacationed together in Sardinia!

Later that same year, Vergara was pictured dressed in a gorgeous gold gown at the 62^nd Prime Time Emmy Awards. Modern Family has premiered and is taking America by storm. She may have come a long way from her days as a teenage mom, but her family still means everything to her.
