The 43-year-old singer suffered two broken ribs and a severed right hand after a 'freak fall' in London.
And her injuries were visible as she flew into Los Angeles and made her way through LAX while being photographed by paparazzi.
The performer had to undergo a three hours surgery after the accident leaving her fans and family anxious.
Mel B still managed to smile as she made her way through the busy airport just before Christmas.
She was glued to her cell phone as her friend helped with her luggage.
Mel B went through a nightmare divorce from husband Stephen Belafonte amid allegations of drugs abuse and domestic violence.

She reportedly suffered the injuries after falling down the stairs at a friend's home in London.
The former X Factor judge was staying with an unnamed friend and struggled to navigate the narrow staircase before losing her footing.
Taline Boyamian, a lawyer for the star, claimed that neither drugs or alcohol were involved in the fall.
