Real Housewives of Orange County stars Shannon and David Beador finally sold their Newport Beach, Calif., mansion after several years on the market. However, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that the property – originally listed for $16 million – sold for just $9.05 million on April 28. The 13,306 square foot mansion in the desirable Crystal Cover neighborhood of Newport Beach, Calif., features its own gym. But did it also hold the memories of David's huge cheating scandal in 2015?

As fans of RHOC know, David infamously cheated on his wife, Shannon, 51 – who is the mother of his three children – in 2015 with Nicole McMackin, 44. According to a source close to Shannon, "She really just wanted to get rid of the house after David's cheating scandal because it carried a lot of bad memories."
During Shannon and David's first season of RHOC, the couple listed the home for $16 million.

They later dropped the asking price to $13.5 million, before slashing the price yet again to $10.898 million. According to Trulia, the Beadors sold the home less than one week ago for $9,050,000, which is $7 million under the original asking price.
As RadarOnline.com reported, HOA (Home Owner's Association) tried to prevent the Beador's from filming inside the prestigious neighborhood – yet another reason why they wanted so badly to sell the home!
The couple could have used this in-home theater to watch themselves on RHOC! "Shannon knew that if she didn't sell the house than she might not be asked to return next season," the source told RadarOnline.com.
But it seems that there is more than meets the eye, as the insider told RadarOnline.com, "Shannon and David are strapped for cash right now, which is why they took such a huge cut he house."
Undoubtedly, the couple selling their home is going to be a part of this upcoming season of RHOC!
