Sean Penn & Charlize Theron Face Each Other For First Time After Awkward Breakup

After making an effort to avoid each other at the Cannes Film Festival, ex-lovers Sean Penn and Charlize Theron finally acknowledged each other's existence during an icy kiss this week.
Theron gave Penn a peck on the cheek as they left the screening for The Last Face on May 20.
Although it was far from a warm and fuzzy reunion, it was a giant leap from where they were at the start of the festival.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the actors found themselves at the same event earlier this week.
But rather than immediately acknowledging the awkwardness, Penn and Theron completely avoided each other!
"There was always someone in between them – at least one person," a source told RadarOnline. "It was like they were on two separate orbits."
6. Their tension stems from a bad breakup last summer.
Theron was accused of "ghosting" Penn — a practice whereby one party breaks up with another by simply never speaking to them again.
Theron has denied ghosting Penn. “When you leave a relationship there has to be some f**king crazy story or some crazy drama," she said. "And the f**king ghosting thing, like literally, I still don’t even know what it is. It’s just its own beast.”
