What Sex Scandal? Sarah Ferguson Defends Ex-Husband Prince Andrew While Vacationing In Switzerland

Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, defended her sex scandal-plagued ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and played it cool as she huffed, puffed and hiked her way around the mountain town Verbier in Switzerland. Click through RadarOnline.com’s gallery to see what she had to say.
Asked about her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, and his ongoing sex scandal, Sarah Ferguson gushed, “He is the greatest man there is.”
“It was the finest moment of my life in 1986 when I married him,” said Ferguson, despite the fact Virginia Roberts has come forward saying she was forced into sex with the royal when she was underage.
Ferguson, who was vacationing in Verbier, Switzerland, when the scandal really blew up, noted that she supports the prince, who she divorced in 1996.
Ferguson added that Prince Andrew “is the best man in the world.”

Prince Andrew flew out of Switzerland and returned to England to address the sex scandal with the royal family.
Ferguson stayed behind with their daughter Eugenie and family friend, Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas.
“The York family are a tight unit, we have always been a tight unit,” said the former Duchess of York.
Despite the swirling scandal, Ferguson treated the press with respect, even sending out coffee to gathered reporters and photographers.
“We’ve all got a job to do haven’t we?” she said.
Only time will tell if Ferguson and her ex-husband continue to remain close.
