As the red-headed princess — then Queen — on HBO’s Game of Thrones, Sansa Stark knows how to make an entrance. But so does Sophie Turner, the British actress who plays her. Turner has been turning heads ever since she appeared on Hollywood’s radar, beginning with her first project, Game of Thrones, and now she's even married to Joe Jonas.

Turner was only 14-years-old when she took the role of Sansa Stark but quickly made a huge splash. In 2012, she was nominated for the ‘Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series — Supporting Young Actress’ for her performance as Sansa and has since gone on to other high-profile projects as well.

In 2013, Turner starred in the movie Another Me and the TV movie The Thirteenth Tale. She’s since appeared in Barely Lethal and landed a job as Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. In 2019, she returned to television for the final season of Game of Thrones.

According to Time, after a controversial rape scene in a 2015 episode of Game Of Thrones, Turner became a supporter of Women for Women International, an organization that helps women survivors of war to rebuild. She is proving that she is as beautiful as she is inspiring.

In 2013, Turner attended an evening with HBO’s Game Of Thrones at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, where she finally got to sit in the Iron Throne! The party happened at the TCL Chinese Theatre. You can still watch the event at the Emmy’s website.
2. ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 3 Premiere In San Francisco.
Way back in 2013, Turner attended the season 3 Game of Thrones premiere in Seattle but wasn’t alone. Here she is pictured alongside castmates Rose Leslie and Natalie Dormer. According to HuffPo, ‘Sansa’s Lemon Cakes’ were served at the afterparty.
3. ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 3 Premiere In Seattle.
The three girls were at it again but this time at the premiere in Seattle. They all wore different outfits but posed in the same positions. According to SuziPratt.com, the afterparty featured a mock Iron Throne.
4. 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Back in 2014, Turner appeared at the 20th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, but she wasn’t alone. She was joined by castmates Maisie Williams and Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who play her sister and brother on Game Of Thrones. The entire main cast of the show was up for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. According to the Screen Actors Guild, the award went to the cast of Breaking Bad.
5. Glamour Women of the Year Awards.
Just six months earlier Turner looked stunning at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards red carpet in London as she posed with none other than Samuel L. Jackson. According to JustJared, Sophie said, “It took me two and a half hours to get ready” and wore McQ by McQueen.
6. The Moët British Independent Film Awards 2014.
Turner had fun on the red carpet alongside Dave McKean, who won a Raindance Award for Luna, and Elliot Grove at the Moët British Independent Film Awards in 2014 in London. Moët was everywhere and even though Turner was just 18, she was allowed to drink as the drinking age in Britain is 16.

Turner smiled alongside costar Maisie Williams and Sophia Bush at the Entertainment Weekly sponsored party honoring the 2015 SAG awards nominees.

In 2015, Turner attended the world premiere of Game Of Thrones season 5, which was held at the frighteningly appropriate Tower of London (yes, the real one). According to the Independent, author George RR Martin has said that the setting of Westeros is “closer to medieval Britain than anything else.”
10. ‘Barely Lethal’ Premiere.
In 2015, Turner was costarring alongside Hailee Steinfeld in the movie Barely Lethal and dazzled at the red carpet premiere at the ArcLight in Hollywood. According to JustJaredJr, Turner wore a Dior dress, Manolo Blahnik heels and a Jimmy Choo clutch.

In 2015, Turner turned heads in a simple two-piece at the 67th Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

Turner turned up in this gorgeous outfit to the Entertainment Weekly Celebration Honoring The Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominees in 2016. 13. 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held on January 30, 2016, and Turner looked resplendent. Once again the main cast of Game Of Thrones had been nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series and sadly, the cast lost — this time to Downton Abbey.
14 The 88th Academy Awards.
In 2016, Turner walked the red carpet at the 88th Academy Awards in a stunning evening gown where, according to MarieClaire, she celebrated her 21st birthday.
15. ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Premiere.
The premiere of the sixth season of Game of Thrones took place at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood back in 2016. Once again, Turner did not disappoint with a dress that would not have looked out of place at the Red Wedding. According to ScreenCrush, Turner said of reading the scripts for the sixth series, “I’m flicking through, like, death, death, death, death, death … Okay, I’m good for this season.”
16. ‘X-Men Apocalypse’ Premiere.

The BAFTA 2017 Tea Party was hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills and, according to BAFTA, Turner was there rubbing shoulders with the likes of Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling and Amy Adams. Turner sported gold-embellished cropped pants and a shirt that was capped off by a gold neckline and stylish booties that, according to RedCarpetFashion, was once again provided by Louis Vuitton.
19. 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In 2017, Turner took to the red carpet at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards and once again turned heads in a stunning red dress. Once again, the entire cast of Game Of Thrones was nominated for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama series — only to lose it this time to the cast of Stranger Things.
20. 70th British Academy Film Awards.
Turner turned more than a few heads when she graced the red carpet at the 70th British Academy Film Awards in London back in 2017. She wore a Louis Vuitton dress with a high leg split but, according to Vanity Fair, the appearance of what looked like a bruise or two had fans online in a tizzy about what stunts she’d been performing for the upcoming season of Game Of Thrones.

That same year, Turner attended the premiere of Game Of Thrones season 7 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall wearing a unique minidress. Once again, according to the Telegraph, she was wearing Louis Vuitton.
