Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes Put On The PDA During Rare Date Night

Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes stepped out for a romantic dinner date in Los Angeles – the first time the actors have been spotted together publiclyin months!

On Wednesday, September 4th, the longtime boyfriend and girlfriend dined at an Asian restaurant and enjoyed each other's company for two hours. They seemed happier than ever as they left the restaurant holding hands.

The couple’s two children, Esmeralda, 4, and Amada, 3, were being taken care of by their nanny during the date.

The couple met in September 2011 while on the set of their flick The Place Beyond the Pines and started dating soon after.

Since the beginning of their relationship, they stayed out of the public eye and have remained silent for the most part.

In 2017, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned their romance had actually been pretty toxic behind the scenes and allegedly took a turn for the worse following Gosling's decision to spend Mother's Day with his mother rather than Mendes.

At the time, sources claimed Mendes' insecurities over Gosling's co-star Emma Stone was the reason why she chose not to accompany her actor boyfriend at the Golden Globes or the Oscars that year.

With Gosling's history for falling for costars, Mendes was also allegedly upset that her La La Land beau had to reshoot scenes from the Neil Armstrong biopic First Man with his costar Claire Foy.

Since then, however, the lovebirds seem to be back on track, as Gosling celebrated her 45th birthday in Disneyland back in March.

Now, the couple is out and about once again, taking a break from acting and their parenthood duties to hold hands and relish in their low-key date night.
