As Radar broke, Edwards, 30, was pulled over for speeding on July 23, 2018 at 1:21 am.
According to a clerk of court for Hamilton County General Sessions Court, Maci Bookout’s baby daddy pled guilty to the speeding charge against him. He has also paid off his $177.75 ticket.
A warrant was issued for Edwards' arrest on May 21, 2018 for missing a court hearing. He was arrested at 1:40pm for petition to revoke from a past simple possession of heroin charge after he was pulled over for speeding.
The first count of simple possession of heroin – petition to revoke, was dismissed. For the second count of possession of heroin – petition to revoke, he was given an 11-month and 29-day suspended sentence. He must complete six months probation and five public work days.
The legal drama started when he was issued a citation on March 12, 2017 for possession of heroin.
He was then arrested on March 27, 2018 for petition to revoke when he failed a drug test on January 17, 2018. In a drug test obtained by Radar, he tested positive for opiates and morphine in a urine sample. He got six months probation and five public work days with random drug tests in between.
Edwards was caught on camera driving to his wedding to wife Mackenzie while high on Xanax. He entered rehab soon after the incident. The couple announced that they are not returning to Teen Mom OG. They are expecting a child together in October. Edwards is father to Bentley, 9, with Bookout, while his wife is mother to son Hudson.
