Rossi's Revenge! Inside Gretchen & Fiancé Slade Smiley's Shocking New Reality Show

Gretchen Rossi sure likes to keep her fans guessing! The 37-year-old former Real Housewives of Orange County star is rumored to be returning to RHOC next season after recently becoming BFFs with current housewives, Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd. However, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that those plans could soon be on the backburner — as Rossi and fiancé, Slade Smiley, just finished shooting for an Alaskan-based TV series, Fresh Off The Glacier! While in the jungle, Rossi took time to appreciate the true beauty of Alaska! According to a source close to production, "Gretchen and Slade were accompanied by a field crew consisting of five people."
Even though the show is called Fresh Off The Glacier, the couple kept each other warm while still ON the glacier!
"Fresh Off The Glacier is a reality show that basically has Gretchen roughing it in the Alaskan wilderness, while chasing bears and showing her fans that she also has a rugged, outdoorsy side," said a source close to the couple.
"In this stage of development, the crew shot concept photos, scouted out locations, looked at houses to rent, dealt with permits and commercial locations, and just basically familiarized themselves with the area that could be used for shooting the show," the insider said.
Luckily, Rossi was able to take a little from the wilderness to do some sight-seeing!
So would Rossi and Smiley leave SoCal behind? The insider told Radar, "Absolutely not! They would not have to move but they would be on location for 3-4 months to film each season of this show. But of course they would fly back and forth as needed."
"Gretchen and Slade had a blast in Alaska and they got a much-needed break from all of the drama that has been going on back at home," the source added.
