Rosie O'Donnell's runaway daughter Chelsea is giving up celebrity luxury for a shocking life with a heroin dealer in a ramshackle home on the New Jersey Shore, The National ENQUIRER has learned.
An unidentified family friend was spotted carrying a case of Molson Ice into the home to hang out with Sheerer's 51-year-old father, a postal worker who on Aug. 25 was charged for his role in a steroid smuggling ring.
Chelsea was later seen wearing headphones, smoking a cigarette and staring at her cellphone at the side of Sheerer's home, which looked like a saloon from all the discarded beer bottles inside two large plastic recycling cans.
An eyewitness told The ENQUIRER: "Chelsea was spotted driving her new mother-in-law's white Honda on a trip to the nearby Rite Aid, "followed by spin through the drive-thru pharmacy at Walgreen's," said the onlooker. "After purchasing the Slurpee at 7/11, the two spent about 30 minutes inside a Big Lots where they emerged with more house hold goods."
Sheerer was previously arrested for heroin dealing and child endangerment and jailed in 2013, but Chelsea is clearly smitten for her ex-con boyfriend and her new in-laws.
Chelsea bolted from Rosie's home shortly after she turned 18 on Aug. 24, and after visiting her biological mom in Wisconsin shacked up with Sheerer, who still faces up to five years in the slammer on the obscenity charge.
Charged with obscenity and endangering the welfare of the child, Sheerer was ordered to stay away from Chelsea, who on Sept. 4 begged and convinced a judge to revoke a restraining order that prevented her from being with Steven.
Police found Chelsea safe hiding in Sheerer's attic and in act of revenge the furious Rosie, 51, pestered authorities to arrest him after she spotted a picture of his crotch on her then 17-year-old daughter's cell phone.
The new life "is a clear slap in the face" to her tyrannical adoptive mom, who tossed her out of their posh Nyack, N.Y., home in August, then cruelly declared her missing, unstable and in need in medication, a source told The ENQUIRER.
Sporting loose fitting plaid pajama pants, Chelsea was seen running errands with her future mother-in-law, and dutifully waiting for her beau, Steven Sheerer, 25, to get home from work before going out with him on a romantic trip to nearby "7/11" convenience store on Sept. 16.
As our world exclusive photos show, 18-year-old Chelsea was the picture of domestic bliss with the beer chugging and troubled Barnegat Township family.
Chelsea dutifully waited until 5 p.m. for her boyfriend to get home from his moving/construction job. The pair then headed to 7/11 to buy coffee before getting into the pick-up truck of a young friend. When asked about the new addition to the family, Sheerer's mother told The ENQUIRER, "We've been overwhelmed by everything that is happening."
