Is Queen Elizabeth ok? In recent photos taken at Kensington Palace, the 92-year-old monarch is seen showing off a very bruised, purple hand. Though the expression on her face doesn’t seem to show pain, fans have grown concerned that the elderly royal could have suffered a fall, or even a possible health crisis! The scary image comes weeks after the Queen’s longtime husband, Prince Philip, was involved a near-death car crash near their Sandringham Estate in Norfolk. Though the brave royal, 97, did not suffer any injuries at the time, two other collision victims were hospitalized and treated. What is going on with Queen Elizabeth? In an official royal photo taken this week, the English monarch is seen holding up her left hand, which is inflamed, purple and clearly very bruised.
In the images, she is seen wearing an elegant light blue dress, pearls and a broach. She flashes her usual cheery smile and wears a gold watch on her injured hand as she stands next to her royal guests.
Neither the Queen nor Kensington Palace have shared statements explaining the monarch’s bruised hand.
