Dev Patel couldn't keep his hands off his new girlfriend during a pedal boat date in Los Angeles that turned into non-stop PDA! The Lion star, 26, treated Australian actress Tilda Cobham-Hervey, 22, to lunch and a romantic pedal boat ride on a lake on Sunday. Patel and Cobham-Hervey spent a lazy Sunday in L.A. enjoying each other's company. First, the new couple ate lunch at a gastro pub in East Hollywood and then walked hand-in-hand down the street to browse at bookstores. Then they headed to Echo Park Lake.
The Slumdog Millionaire actor and Cobham-Hervey took a limo to Echo Park where they rented pedal boats.
The two shared a romantic kiss while pedaling across the lake. Throughout the day, Patel and his beauty held hands and gazed lovingly into each other's eyes.
According to The Mirror, an eyewitness was struck by their bond, commenting, "They looked so in love, it was really sweet to see. They couldn’t stop smiling and Dev kept kissing Tilda’s head. It was lovely."
The actress will appear in the film Hotel Mumbai, in which Patel is her co-star. She wore a camel-colored coat over her red and white striped shirt and jeans to ward off the chill on the lake.
As RadarOnline.com has reported, during a break at the Oscars on Sunday, Hacksaw Ridge star Andrew Garfield was seen in a cozy embrace with Patel. On Twitter, fans suggested the two men kiss! But on Sunday, Patel had eyes only for Cobham-Hervey.
For his date with the up-and-coming actress, Patel wore a sheepskin-lined black jacket with a blue shirt underneath. Faded jeans and desert-style shoes rounded out his look.
Patel was seen resting his chin on his girlfriend's shoulder during their day out. They had no problem moving their legs in tandem on the pedal boat. The two spent a lot of time laughing at private jokes while on the lake.
