Taylor Schilling: The actress who plays the lead role of bisexual drug money smuggler Piper Chapman on Orange Is the New Black shed her usual baggy orange costume for a white hot Thakoon gown at the 2013 Emmys. “I’ve never felt this good in a dress, ever,” the breakout star, 29, told Vogue. Schilling also has dazzled in a Peter Pilotto gown at the Glamour Women of the Year awards. She’s said her top beauty secret is “Sleep! I feel most beautiful when I’m rested. And after a yoga class.”

Laura Prepon: Black is the new black, when it comes to the star who plays former drug smuggler Alex Vause on the Netflix show. At the 2014 Paley Center event for her show, Prepon donned a gorgeous black sparkly minidress by Aidan Mattox. The former That ‘70s Show star, 34, made People magazine’s most beautiful list for 2014 and posed nude on top of a horse!

Kate Mulgrew: Her character Red runs the prison kitchen, but the veteran Star Trek: Voyager star, now 59, enjoys stepping out of her prison chef garb for a night on the town! Here at the 2014 Writers’ Guild Awards, however, Mulgrew appears to be giving a nod to prisoners everywhere with a horizontal striped jacket! The actress says of Red, “She's going to survive among the bleak monochromatic prison walls if it's the last thing she does."

Taryn Manning: From prison jumpsuit to party jumpsuit! Manning ditched her baggy clothes and meth mouth look as Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett to attend the Paley Fest tribute to Orange Is the New Black season two. She donned a $334 Gemmy Maalouff black jumpsuit to pose for photographers. Manning has told GQ about her nasty show teeth, “It's just make-up. A waterproof-based make-up. It doesn't take too long to apply. It kind of stings when they put it on, because there's some, like, alcohol in it, I guess.”

Natasha Lyonne: OITNB’s Nicky Nichols has a rap sheet in real life as well! Lyonne was arrested in 2001 for DUI and pleaded guilty. In 2004, she was charged with mischief, trespass, and the harassment of a neighbor (and the neighbor’s dog) but charges were later dropped. The actress has also reportedly faced health problems, including a collapsed lung and hepatitis C. But here, at the Netflix season 2 premiere, Lyonne looks fine in black Marc Jacobs with wild sleeves.

Michelle Hurst: Sadly, the show’s Miss Claudette spent more than two weeks in a medically induced coma after a car accident before the holidays in 2013. Doctors reportedly performed surgery on Hurst for multiple injuries and she’s on a slow road to recovery. Get well soon!

Uzo Aduba: Her role as Suzanne “Crazy” Eyes Warren has put Aduba on Hollywood map! And the star, 33, was completely unrecognizablefrom her cray-cray character when she arrived at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner earlier this year. Aduba donned a strapless black sequined Bariano dress for the occasion. It’s quite a change from OITNB, on which Aduba has said she’s not afraid to “ugly it up…and get gritty.”

Yael Stone: Stone is usually in her drab prison uniform as the show’s racist and sometime “lipstick lesbian” character Lorna, but look at her now! She recently wore a black cobweb-style dress with orange shoes and bag to the Elle Women In Television celebration. The Australian actress, 28, told Elle of her sex scenes with Natasha Lyonne, “We have nothing but fun doing those scenes. Of course it’s strange…you’re in these weird situations and you’ve got Band-Aids over your nipples!”

Madeline Brewer: The 23-year-old star who played OITNB’s drug addict and lesbian Tricia looks lovely in grey at this New York premiere. She left after season one, but has moved on to a new Netflix show, the second season of Hemlock Grove. "Of course I miss 'Orange,'" Brewer said. "I miss it a lot because it was my first thing and…I spent a lot of energy on it.”

Samira Wiley: Fans love Wiley’s portrayal of good natured Poussey Washington and she is fond of her own character! “Someone on Twitter asked me… what my favorite thing is about Poussey, and I said ‘her smile,’” Wiley told an interviewer. Here, the actress’ smile shines brightly as she rocks a print crop top on the GLAAD Media Awards red carpet.
