Richie was spotted on Dec. 12 with her husband — but she left her wedding ring at home.
The couple had been at lunch together in Los Angeles.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Richie, 35, and 37-year-old Madden have had their share of problems and divorce rumors have dogged the pair for some time now.
On Dec. 18, Richie again fanned the flames of speculation when she showed off a bare ring finger while posing on the red carpet in Beverly Hills.
Just last December the couple put their family home up for sale, leading some to speculate they were preparing to go their separate ways.
