90 Day Fiancé star Nicole Nafziger endured criticism from her fiancé Azan Tefou throughout their relationship because of her weight. Now, Nafziger is working out and dieting without the help of her controversial fiancé! A source close to the 90 Day Fiancé star is giving exclusive details on her weight-loss journey.
The mother-of-one posted a photo of a treadmill in her home. "Got my treadmill in place," she captioned the Instagram story post. "Ready for this?" She then posted that she completed an almost 1 ½ mile-walk in 30 minutes.
But that wasn't all, as Nafziger finished the workout with a smoothie containing almond, cashew and oat milk. Later on in the night, she cooked a healthy dinner for her father, which appeared to be salmon with vegetables!
A source close to the reality star confirmed she bought a treadmill for her home. "She thinks about losing weight every once in a while," the insider said. "I'm happy to see her doing something for herself."
The insider added that while Nafziger "usually doesn't follow through" with her plans, the source believes she "would like to lose weight."
The healthy lifestyle comes after years of verbal abuse by fiancé Azan. While in Morocco, he brought her to a gym and worked out with her. "Whenever I talk to Nicole about being healthy she doesn't like this," he said, adding in another scene, "You promised me you were going to go to gym and eat healthy." When she told him it "isn't easy," he responded, "You're just lazy."
During the workout he pushed her to the point where she broke down crying. "You can't breathe? That's because you don't go to gym. That's because you don't work out," he said. "Think about now after like one year or something how you will look. I love you, but in the future a want a happy and healthy family. There is some stuff I want you to change. Like to go to the gym and to not be lazy. If that doesn't happen I'm not sure I'm going to America!"
He then said he is only "55 percent" attracted to her. When she asked if he would be attracted to her no matter what, he responded. "I love you just please let's go to the gym together."
Nafziger vented to her family, "He thinks I should lose some weight and there would be better attraction between us. I didn't know he cared about it like that. He's not fully attracted to me."
