One day before celebrities are set to reunite in New York City for MTV’s 2018 VMAs, a seemingly bitter Nicki Minaj slammed Kylie Jenner and her baby daughter Stormi Webster for bumping Travis Scott’s album, Astroworld, all the way to the top.
“Travis sold over 50K of these. With no requirement of redeeming the album! With no dates for a tour, etc. I spoke to him. He knows he doesn’t have the #1 album this week. I love my fans for the #1 album in AMERICA! I’ll explain on #QueenRadio 4 albums in, #1 in 86 countries” tweeted Minaj, 35, this Sunday.
“I put my blood sweat & tears in writing a dope album only for Travis Scott to have Kylie Jenner post a tour pass telling ppl to come see her & Stormi. lol. Im actually laughing. #Queen broke the record of being number 1 in 86 countries. Thank Jesus & thank you to my fans,” she added.
Jenner, 21, and Scott, 27, did not respond to the female rapper’s comments—but social media haters sure did not like her bad-loser attitude! As RadarOnline.com readers know, the Lip Kip mogul and her close pals have been promoting her baby daddy’s album ever since its release, even wearing his trippy tour merch! Recently, Jenner confirmed that she and her daughter will be joining Scott on tour—which apparently angered rival rapper Minaj.
Much awkwardness is expected, as Jenner and Scott will be seated directly behind Minaj in the star-studded audience!
While new momma Cardi B, 25, will not be performing, she will be opening the show with a monologue or cheeky skit—as there will be no host at this year’s most-awaited music event.
Apart from the exciting wins of the night, fans can expect to enjoy a thrilling performance by 25-year-old Ariana Grande, who will reportedly be taking the stage to perform her hit song “God Is A Woman” along with 50 female dancers! Who do you think will take the most wins at tonight’s VMAs? Let us know in the comments below.
