Not Free Yet! Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino’s Strict Probation Rules Exposed

Mike Sorrentino may be free from prison – but he still has strict rules he must abide by!
RadarOnline.com exclusively broke that the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star was released from FCI Otisville on Thursday, September 12 at around 8:10am after serving an 8-month sentence on tax evasion charges. Now, RadarOnline.com can reveal exclusive details on the strict rules The Situation is expected to follow now that he is out from behind bars.
In the judgment obtained from New Jersey District Court in Newark, Sorrentino, 37, is on two years of supervised release. All conditions listed below only last during the duration of his probation.
Within 72 hours of release from prison, he must report in person to the Probation Office in the district he was released from.
He must refrain from committing another federal, state or local crime.
He must also submit to one drug test within 15 days of commencement of supervised released and at least two thereafter, as determined by his probation officer.
“You must refrain from the illegal possession and use of drugs, including prescription medication not prescribed in your name, and must submit to urinalysis or other forms of testing to ensure compliance,” the court papers read.
But this condition shouldn’t be a problem. As RadarOnline.com readers know, Sorrentino has been open about his drug and alcohol abuse. He celebrated three years of sobriety in December 2018.
Sorrentino must to submit to evaluation and treatment, on an outpatient or inpatient basis.
“You must undergo treatment in a mental health program approved by the U.S. Probation Office until discharged by the Court,” the papers read.
He must also contribute 500 hours of community service work over the term of supervised release without compensation.

Financial Rules
In the court papers, Sorrentino must provide the U.S. Probation Office with full disclosure of his financial records, upon request. This consists of income, expenses, assets, liabilities and yearly tax returns. He is unable to open any additional individual and/or joint checking, savings or other financial accounts without the knowledge and approval of the U.S. Probation Office. He must provide monthly statements of his income.
Permission First
He is also prohibited from incurring new credit card charges, opening additional lines of credit, or incurring any monetary loan, obligation or debt, without approval of the U.S. Probation Office.
Home Sweet Home
He must live in a place approved by the probation officer. If he wants to move or change who he resides with, he must notify the probation officer 10 days before the change. The probation officer is able to visit the home at any time. As readers know, he currently lives in a Long Branch condo with wife Lauren.
Reality TV Job!
The Jersey Shore: Family Vacation star must work full time, which is at least 30 hours per week. The probation officer can excuse him from doing so. He must also notify the officer if his work changes.
Marc, Too?
Sitch is also prohibited from communicating or interacting with someone who is engaged in criminal activity. If someone he knows has been convicted of a felony, he is unable to knowingly communicate or interact with that person unless he gets permission. As RadarOnline.com readers know, his brother Marc is serving a two-year sentence at FCI Fairton.
No Guns
The Situation is unable to own, possess or have access to a firearm, ammunition, destructive device or dangerous weapon.
Legal Troubles
As RadarOnline.com has reported, Sorrentino pled guilty to tax evasion on January 19, 2018. He was sentenced to 8 months in prison on October 5, 2018.

The reality star wore a gray T-shirt that read, “The comeback is always greater than the setback.” As Jersey Shore: Family Vacation fans know, Sorrentino is known for his love of food, especially funfetti cake. He now has his toned figure that gave him the nickname The Situation back!
First Stop!
According to an eyewitness, Sorrentino went inside to use the bathroom during the gas station stop. When he exited, his wife Lauren went back inside the bathroom with him. “They were in there for no more than two minutes,” the onlooker said. “They did not get food or gas, they just continued on their way.”
