Hot To Trot! Mary-Kate Olsen Competes In French Equestrian Match
Mary-Kate Olsen is continuing to perfect her childhood passion, horseback riding.
On Saturday, July 6, she rode her prized stallion Naomi and competed against other equestrians in the Longines Global Champions Tour at Paris.
As readers know, the former Full House star is not a stranger to riding horses. Back in May, she competed when the tour made its stop at the exclusive Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. She even sat back after her match with her older husband Olivier Sarkozy to watch and enjoy another horseback riding event.
While her competitions have garnered the attention of media outlets as of late, Mary-Kate actually has been in competitive show jumping long enough to have built a great reputation and rapport with others in the sport.
Her love for horses started at 6 years old when she fell for 4x4, a pony on the set of the show she was working on at the time. With years away from the sport, she’s returned to her passion and now rides horses on the weekends.
“I came back to the sport because I missed it every day that I wasn't riding,” she once said. “It was the hardest thing to leave and the hardest thing to come back to.”
