Mark Salling killed himself in a "remote" location deep inside a Los Angeles park, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively obtained disturbing photos of the exact location where the disgraced actor allegedly hanged himself just weeks before his sentencing hearing for child porn charges. In the shocking snaps, tons of trash can be seen surrounding the area where Salling took his own life in the early morning hours of January 30.
Salling, who was only 35 at the time of his death, chose a place where "he knew no one would hear or see anything," a law enforcement source tells RadarOnline.com exclusively
“This individual chose a very remote area. There are no neighbors around and there is no cell phone reception either."
The police informant reveals Salling's suicide spot is just on the boarder of the Angeles National Forest.
It is said to be known as "a place that a lot of drug addicts come" due to it's remote and isolated location.
“This area is very popular for the homeless and people that are trying to escape their problems and do drugs," said the source.
The exact area where Salling committed suicide is seen roped off with yellow tape.
As readers know, a missing persons report was filed just hours before cops discovered Salling’s body.
Cops out of the Foothill Division received a missing persons report at 3 am on January 30, LAPD spokesman Mike Lopez told RadarOnline.com exclusively.
Salling was was awaiting trial in his bombshell child porn case and was expected to serve up to seven years in prison.
