Maria Menounos Celebrates Her 40th Birthday--One Year After Surgery!

Maria Menounos underwent delicate surgery in June 2017 for meningioma, a benign brain tumor. Now, just one year later, she's celebrated her 40th birthday with such pals as George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Ryan Seacrest! The longtime TV entertainment host marked turning 40 on Friday night, June 8. Menounos made the scene as George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman hosted a private Casamigos "House of Friends" dinner in Hollywood.
Menounos had a blast at the celebrity event which also featured Gerber's supermodel wife, Cindy Crawford, and fellow TV host Ryan Seacrest of American Idol.
Menounos and the other stars partied at the restaurant, TAO LA, which promoted Casamigos, the tequila created by Clooney, Gerber, and Meldman. The beautiful TV personality had a major reason to celebrate as it's been a year since her worrying surgery.

Menounos resigned as the co-host of E! News after revealing that she underwent surgery.
Menounos revealed to PEOPLE that she first learned of her meningioma diagnosis in February 2017. In June of the same year, she underwent surgery to have a "golf ball-sized" tumor removed.
Incredibly, the star was helping her mom fight a brain tumor when she was hit with her own health problem. But both are alive -- and now, Menounos has every reason to celebrate with her husband Keven Undergaro, whom she married in December.
