Another ‘Teen Mom’ Dog Scandal: Mackenzie Slammed For Leaving Dog In Outdoor Pen

Another dog scandal has hit the Teen Mom franchise. After Jenelle Evans’ husband David Eason admitted to shooting her dog for harmlessly nipping at their 2-year-old daughter, RadarOnline.com can reveal another dog abuse scandal.
Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie McKee has been slammed for leaving her dog in an outdoor pen while on vacation with her husband Josh.
Animal rights organization PETA and a neighbor revealed their thoughts on the situation exclusively to RadarOnline.com.
Bad Move
In a now-deleted Facebook post, Mackenzie explained the situation. “So we left our dog in an outdoor pen,” she wrote. “Not a kennel, a pen. We’ve had someone feeding and watering him daily.”
Reported!
She continued that neighbors called animal control saying, “They haven’t seen anyone in days, and they went and grabbed him out of our backyard and just called us letting us know we owe them $80. Is that even allowed?”
Truth Revealed
Her neighbor responded to her post, “Cause we have listened to this poor dog cry for 5 days in this tiny little pen. There is no dog house, there is only muddy ground. His food was soaked. We didn’t know if anyone would be back. Our concern was for the dog.”
New Home?
The neighbor then offered to help find a home for the “awesome” Great Dane.
Harsh Conditions
The neighbor also provided photos of the dog standing on a muddy portion of the backyard with a tarp covering the top half of the cage.
Bad Weather
The photo is alarming, as there are flood warnings in the area.
Speaking Out
PETA Senior Vice President of Cruelty Investigations Daphna Nachminovitch told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive statement, “Anyone who would leave a dog alone for days on end—let alone in a muddy, feces-laden cage outdoors at the mercy of the elements—lacks common sense and basic decency. Mackenzie McKee's neighbor was absolutely right to report her for abandoning and neglecting this dog. PETA hopes McKee will allow him to be adopted by a family who understands that dogs need and deserve companionship, exercise, and respect.”
Neighbor Speaks
The neighbor who reported the situation to animal control exclusively told RadarOnline.com, “The dog is safe and sound.”
Bad History
This isn’t the first time Mackenzie has come under fire for her pets. In 2017, her son Gannon kissed and hugged their dead puppy. “What do you plan to do with that puppy?” she asked him in the video, as he responded, “Keep it.” She then said, “Gannon, you know the dog is dead right? You’re just going to keep a dead dog?”
Bad Timing!
The scandal comes at a bad time for Mackenzie, as there is currently a spot open on Teen Mom 2 after Jenelle’s firing over the dog shooting.
Court War
The scandal also forced child protective services to remove all of her and David’s children from their care. They have been in court with CPS to fight for their children back.
