“I have two different types of lung cancer,” she said. “One is called non-small cell, the other one is called small cell. One is aggressive one and is slow moving. I have spots on my liver and my pelvic bone. I had eight tumors on my brain. I didn't have brain cancer. I had lung cancer in my brain.”
She explained how she is undergoing chemo at the moment. “I had to start an IV port for chemo,” she said. “I do that three days then I’ll take three days off. I take a chemo pill everyday.”
Despite the tough battle, Douhit is “doing fine.” “Every day is a new day,” she said. “I’m blessed. Doctors are great and intelligent people, but God made my body. He knows how to fix it. My life is in his hands. Whatever he needs of me, I am not going to go down lying in bed. I’m going to share the love of god with who I run into.”

McKee, 23, added how they learned about her cancer diagnosis while filming a fitness video for her company Body My Mac. “I was doing videos with her and that’s when we started to find out. She said, 'Please edit my heavy breathing out of these videos, I don’t know what’s wrong with me,'” she explained. “Then we found out. During my biggest fitness project, my mom found out she had lung cancer.”
McKee told RadarOnline.com in January that her mom had five inoperable masses on her brain and a 7cm mass on her lung. McKee and her family members got a tattoo of their mother’s message “Always Be Kind” in her handwriting as a tribute.
