Maci's Worst Nightmare: 'TMOG' Star Breaks News To Jayde That She’s Having Surgery

Maci Bookout is living every mom's worst nightmare. The Teen Mom OG star had to break the news to her daughter Jayde Carter, 3, that she was having surgery in an emotional conversation on Teen Mom OG. The MTV reality star gave a pep talk to the toddler the night before her medical procedure in a heartbreaking conversation. Click through the gallery for the sad details.
“Jayde you’re going to the doctor tomorrow,” Bookout told her daughter in a sneak peek of the upcoming Teen Mom OG episode.

“Are you gonna be brave,” they ask Jayde who cheerfully tells them yes.
“Why?” the 3-year-old, who was facing a procedure to help her breathing, asked. Her parents tried to explain the visit in positive terms.
“Cause they’re gonna give you some grape juice and then you get to take a nap,” Bookout, the mother of three, who just purchased a new home in Tennessee, told Jayde.
The TMOG star explained to her daughter how the procedure would end, saying: “And you’ll wake up and then they’ll give you a popsicle and then you get to come home.”
Jayde’s father, Taylor McKinney, told the little girl, “You’ll sleep better.”
“This will help you breathe better out of your nose and your mouth,” the dad assured his daughter.
Bookout had fans speculating that she was pregnant again after McKinney posted a photo of her with a suspicious baby bump.
She was called out for photoshopping a picture that seemed to cover up a bump as well.
