Edwards, 30, may be taking in the calming view more frequently these days. On March 23, Bookout and her husband hit him with two protection orders. In Bookout’s order, she alleged, “He has left voicemail messages threatening to show up at my house and take my son. He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don’t answer my phone.” She claimed during her son’s baseball game in May 2017, Edwards “showed up under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me.” She asked that Bentley, 9, and her children with McKinney, Jayde, 2, and Maverick, 1,
McKinney claimed in his petition, “He called me on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 and threatened to show up at my house and put a bullet in my head. The police were called and they suggested to seek an order of protection.” Both orders were temporarily granted until their court hearing on May 21.
Then on March 27, Edwards was arrested for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation, for a March 2017 simple possession of heroin arrest. He went to rehab in May for heroin abuse.
