Bookout has confided in her friends and co-stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra. "Cate has talked to her and they're happy that she's gotten a restraining order," the insider said. "Cate thinks it's long overdue. Ryan has put Maci through a lot and his family tries to paint this horrible picture of her, but everyone knows how bad it's been with Ryan, how much she's let slide in the past and how anxiety ridden she gets when Bentley is in his care."

RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed Bookout and McKinney's protection orders against Edwards. Bookout alleged, "He has left voicemail messages threatening to show up at my house and take my son. He has made threats to show up and hurt me if I don't answer my phone." She claimed during her son's baseball game in May 2017, Edwards "showed up under the influence of heroin and got in my face, yelling and threatening to hurt me."

Bookout explained how she fears for their son Bentley's safety because she has proof that he drives while under the influence. "His behavior and actions are getting worse," she alleged. "I am fearful for my three children and myself, and what he may do, based on his threats." She asked that Bentley, 9, and her children with McKinney, Jayde, 2, and Maverick, 1, also be protected under the order.

In McKinney's protection order, he chillingly wrote, "He called me on Tuesday, March 20th, 2018 and threatened to show up at my house and put a bullet in my head. The police were called and they suggested to seek an order of protection." McKinney, who shares daughter Jayde, 2, and Maverick, 1, with Bookout, added, "He has also said he would show up at our son's baseball game and confront us, my wife and I." Both orders were temporarily granted until their court hearing on May 21.

Edwards was arrested on March 27 for petition to revoke, which means breaking probation, for a March 2017 simple possession of heroin arrest. He went to rehab in May for heroin abuse. On episodes of Teen Mom OG, Bookout claimed Edwards threatened her because she would not allow him to see their son Bentley until he passed a drug test.
