During the height of his days starring as Dylan McKay on 90210 in the 1990s, Perry was reportedly terrified of catching AIDS. “Luke is shaking in his boots that he’ll contract the deadly AIDS virus,” a source claimed to The National ENQUIRER at the time. "He's had a lot of girlfriends, women who have thrown themselves at his feet."

Perry admitted he could get out of control when it came to his conquests. “There is no middle ground for me,” he once admitted. “I am either with just one girl or lots of girls, although more than five or six and it gets out of hand.”

Doctors were able to successfully remove the growths. “I want people to be proactive about their health,” he said at the time, adding, “So many people could save a life if they just go and have a colonoscopy.”

Before his death at age 52, Perry was otherwise “healthy,” according to nearby residents who often saw the actor walk his dogs and perform “regular exercise routines.” He also frequented a gym “down the street” from his home in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

Multiple sources claimed to RadarOnline.com that Perry underwent a second stroke, which led to his untimely death. “It was ultimately a second stroke that killed him,” an insider claimed to RadarOnline.com. “The first one is the one that you all know about. I don’t know if he ever came out of his medically induced coma.”
