Lindsay Lohan cuts a seductive stare in this topless shot from her new film The Canyons.

The film's director Paul Schrader admitted he was aiming for controversy, saying he "stirred the pot … with the casting of Lindsay" and porn star James Deen.

Lindsay seems to be in deep introspection as she fiddles with her hair in the shower.

Bow chick a bow wow! Despite some famously unhealthy living in recent years, Lindsay's appearance hasn't taken too much of a hit, as she looks quite the seductress in this shot from the film.

The Canyons isn't the first time LiLo's bared her flesh for the camera, as she also went topless for 2007's I Know Who Killed Me and 2010's Machete.

James Deen, LiLo's co-star in the film, is no stranger to showing off flesh, as he's performed in porn scenes with hundreds of adult starlets, with prominent names such as Teen Mom Farrah Abraham, crossover star Sasha Grey and Scottish stunner Skin Diamond making the long list.

LiLo, seen here in all her pale glory, is hoping the buzzy indie film jumpstarts what's been a career defined by underachieving and missed opportunities the past seven years.
