The mother of three first confirms reports she lost primary custody of 5-year-old twins Ali and Aleeah to their father, Corey Simms, 25, following a judge's October 7 ruling. "It was like a slap in the face," the MTV star tells Us. "It hurt me. It made me angry."
On her reality show's last season, Messer shut down Simms' claims she constantly brought the twins late to school. Now, she claims they sometimes showed up tardy or missed the entire day due to her struggle with narcolepsy, a sleep disorder. (She does deny they were tardy this year; Simms' claims prompted the judge to award primary custody to Simms and his wife, Miranda.)
Though she initially only copped to popping anti-anxiety pills for "about a week," she also admits to taking powerful prescription painkillers hydrocodone and Percocet after daughter Adalynn's 2013 birth. (RadarOnline.com exclusively reported Messer's drug abuse last summer.)
