Mama June Shannon's second-youngest daughter is only 16 but she said yes after Josh Efird popped the question at a local Bay Breeze seafood restaurant near her Georgia home.

"Me & Josh are getting married once I turn 18," Shannon wrote on her Instagram page. She showed off her sparkling pink stone with a diamond band.

The lovebirds smooched for the camera but Shannon's mother has said that they have vowed not to have sex until they are married.

"For those of you saying that we won't last, please let us prove you wrong," Shannon wrote about her husband-to-be. "I've never in my life felt the love I do for this young man for anyone. Josh has his ducks in a row. He has his own business, he has his own car, and he treats me with the respect I deserve."

However, his grandmother, Linda Efird, told RadarOnline.com that she was not thrilled about their rush to the altar. ""I think they're too young for marriage," she said."I hope they have a long engagement."
