Kim Richards Ex's Sad Last Days Were Marred By Family Feud
Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton fueled the tragedy before his death.

Kim Richards' whole family was involved in a dramatic family feud as her ex-husband Monty Brinson prepared to die.
Brinson's beloved daughter Brooke Wiederhorn posted loving pictures of her father as the he was losing his battle with cancer. "The best hugs," she wrote about her wedding, where she danced with him at the reception. But their relationship was fraught with angst at the end, RadarOnline.com exclusively learned.
His oldest child with Kim Richards flew out of town over the holidays, a move that devastated her father. "Monty was so upset the Brooke wasn't with him and went out of town," a source told Radar. "He was telling friends that he was really hurt by Brooke and didn't understand why she would do what she did."
Brinson's anger at Wiederhorn was a sign to the family that he was nearing the end. "Monty was in no frame of mind to be talking with anyone," the source told Radar.
Wiederhorn posted a touching note about her father after his death last week. "My father fought till the very end and never gave up. He was surrounded by everyone he loved and went peacefully," she wrote. "Today is bittersweet knowing that he is at peace and doesn't have to fight this horrible disease anymore."
Brinson's relationship with his ex was strained over their daughter's decision to go to on the trip. "Monty was furious at Kim too," the source claimed. "He didn't understand why she didn't make Brooke stay and be with him."

According to the source, Kyle Richards was a target of his ire at the end as well. "Monty told people that Kyle was the reason that Kim was so messed up," the source claimed.
Kathy and Rick Hilton were the only ones spared during his tragic last days. "Monty loved Kathy and Rick," the source told Radar. "He was so thankful for everything they did for him and how much they loved him. They made his life so bearable at the end."
