Kardashian and West's work trip to Iceland was frosty, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned. "Kanye wouldn't let Kim out of his site during the trip," a pal revealed.

West tried to put his wife on lockdown during the out of country jaunt. Said the source, "Kanye wanted to spend every second with her. He was always trying to make sure they were together."

West was smothering his wife amid divorce rumors, arguing with her whenever she wanted to do things without him.

But their fractured relationship took another hit while on the trip for Kourtney Kardashian's 37th birthday celebration when West's wife went out on her own. "Kim had plans to do things with other people during the trip. But Kanye wanted to be by her side the entire time. If they were apart he would text her nonstop," the source told RadarOnline.com.

"Kim and Kanye were laughing and talking to each other like there was nothing wrong in public," the source said. But despite their public displays of affection the source told RadarOnline.com their actions behind the scenes were another story. "They refuse to talk about the end of their marriage.
