Amanda Marie Berry, went missing in April, 2003, one day before her 17th birthday. After 10 years in captivity she heroically let two other women to freedom, busting out of Ariel Castro's house with the help of a neighbor and calling 911. She now has a six-year-old child, and multiple reports say that Castro is likely the father. Amanda has had a joyous reunion with some of her relatives.

Georgina, known as Gina, Dejesus, has relatives celebrating her return and saying they never gave up hope.

Charles Ramsey has emerged as an unlikely hero after helping Berry escape from Castro's house. His press interview have been interspersed with profanities and candid statements that have made him a viral star. He was eating McDonald's when he heard Berry trying to escape.

Ariel Castro and his two brothers have been arrested in connection with the case. His ex brother-in-law claims he beat his wife viciously. Friends reveals he never would let them into the house and some neighbors said he seemed ordinary while others are now coming forward with reports of strange things they noticed at his house.

The house on 2207 Seymour Avenue in Cleveland is now a crime scene. Multiple search warrants have been obtained as the FBI searches inside and outside. Authorities went into the house in hazmat suits and began an extensive search for evidence. Dogs were brought in to assist. Reports say no human remains had been found as of the morning of May 8. The home has four bedrooms and one bathroom. Chains were found hanging from a ceiling.

With homes set close together, many questions are now being asked about how three women were held without anyone noticing anything. Several neighbors now say they called police multiple times over the past few years to investigate the house. Cleveland police are denying those claims, pitting them against the neighbors.

Neighbors just doors away say they called police when they saw three naked women with dog leashes around their necks crawling in the backyard and being "controlled" by three men. They say the police took no action.

What went on inside this house of horrors? Authorities are interviewing Berry, Knight and DeJesus slowly as the women try to recover from their trauma. There were several pregnancies and the women were beaten and malnourished, reports say.

The rescue of the three women quickly became a national story as neighbors and relatives celebrated. As details then emerged of what the women endured the celebration became subdued.

The Castro brothers have been arrested in connection with the situation but as of the morning of May 8, specfic charges had not been brought against them. The deadline to file charges against Ariel, Pedro and O'Neal Castro was extended. Ariel bought the home from his brothers.

Amanda Berry's mother Louwana, shown wearing a badge with her daughter's face, never gave up hope of finding Amanda alive. Sadly she died in 2006. She was told by a psychic on a TV show that her daughter was dead in an incident that has now drawn public scorn.

Michelle Knight's mother Barbara said she never gave up hope and had not reunited with her daughter as of early May 8. "I really want to take her back to Florida with me," she told reporters.

Friends and relatives created a grand homecoming for Gina DeJesus, complete with welcome home banner and balloons. Multiple reports say Ariel Castro was a friend of a relative of DeJesus and even attended a vigil for the missing girls.
