Khloe Kardashian & Lamar Odom's Embattled Marriage Through The Years

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom wed Sept. 27, 2009, just a month after they met at a party. She later said of the shotgun wedding: "You know, there are no words to explain it ... I never felt this way; how I am around him and how he is to me. I knew I loved him after a couple days. Sometimes you just know -- I just can't explain it."

Khloe was seeing NFL player Derrick Ward before hooking up with Lamar, but said she felt "a deeper connection" with the NBA forward.

In Star's bombshell report about Lamar's affair with a gorgeous brunette, the NBA veteran reportedly was weary of the constant spotlight the Kardashian family basks in, according to the woman's friend, who said that “whenever he would leave to go to Khloe, he would say ‘I have to go be a Kardashian now.’”

Khloe and Lamar's possible split would undoubtedly send ripples through reality TV's first family, as her mother Kris Jenner and step-father Bruce are reportedly having marital issues of their own, while sister Kourtney and baby daddy Scott Disick have had a rocky romantic road themselves. And we won't even mention another NBA forward who married into the family …

It's anyone's guess how Khloe will move forward in the face of Lamar's reported infidelity, as she said just a year ago, “I like to think divorce is not an option.” The question now is, will those words come back to haunt her?

Khloe and Lamar have been public in their desires to have a child, with Khloe seeking fertility treatments to boost their chances. She told Redbook in May, "I do think sharing my difficulty getting pregnant has helped a lot of women."

Khloe and Lamar have both had their share of professional difficulties in their marriage, as his hoops career is slowly declining, while her short-lived gig on The X-Factor proves she doesn't have close to the clout of her sister Kim.

While Khloe and Lamar enjoyed the convenience of his playing with the local Los Angeles Lakers in their early days as a couple, she later traveled to Texas with him for his ill-fated stint with the Dallas Mavericks. He's since taken his talents back to LaLa Land in a comeback campaign with the Clippers, and looks likely to rejoin the Lakers within the next few days.

Khloe has reportedly had second thoughts about kicking Lamar out of the home after learning about his yearlong dalliance with a woman named Jennifer Richardson, as a pal of Richardson's said the socialite has been “freaking out" and "begging him to come back.”
