Spacey was seen strolling with a yoga mat at The Meadows, which has become the go-to rehab place for stars in crisis. The actor is recognized wherever he goes, but patients there wear color-coded tags in plastic badges pinned to their shirts!
Located in the Sonoran Desert on 14 acres, The Meadows appears more like a luxury hotel than a rehab facility. Spacey wore a baseball cap and clutched a book there. His yoga mat implied he was also doing some stretching! At one point, Spacey pulled up his hoodie, possibly to ward off the cold or avoid being recognized.
Spacey, 58, no doubt enjoyed The Meadows' luxury, as the place boasts hacienda-style lodges complete with sunken granite baths. Also, guests take advantage of an Olympic-size pool, state-of-the-art gym, private t'ai chi, yoga, art classes, and horse hugging sessions as therapy. Teddy bears are reportedly also used to help patients deal with their addictions.
The actor's TV show House of Cards folded after Spacey's alleged sexual misdeeds made news. The star, who came out of the closet as gay following the reports he allegedly jumped on an underage boy, will be able to enjoy The Meadows' New Age-style treatment, such as walking through a stone "Serenity Circle" at sunrise.
Spacey is reportedly paying about $37,000 a month to stay at the top Arizona rehab clinic. Producer Harvey Weinstein, who was also exposed as an alleged sexual predator, also checked into The Meadows. Golfer Tiger Woods, David Duchovny, and Michael Douglas are reportedly some of the other celebrities to get treatment at the rehab.
Somber looking Spacey was photographed walking the facility's well-manicured grounds. His career is in a shambles after being hit with multiple allegations of sexual harassment.
Stars still have to follow rules at The Meadows, which include only having access to mobile phones and computers for 15 minutes a day. Patients also must follow a sugar-free diet and can't smoke.
RadarOnline.com has learned that the routine people like Spacey typically follow at The Meadows includes each day starting at 6:15 a.m. with an hour of exercise. Private t'ai chi and yoga lessons are held outside before it gets too warm in the Arizona sun. Then breakfast is served in the communal dining hall cooked by a team of private chefs.
