Labor Day may be an American holiday, but embattled Gossip Girl actress Kelly Rutherford celebrated in Mougins, France with her children.
She shared breakfast with her son and daughter at a scenic bakery.
Helena and Hermes spent the summer with their mother in the United States.
However, when it came time to give the children back to their dad, Rutherford had another plan.
Ultimately, despite Rutherford reporting that the children had begged to stay with her, she was compelled to send them back.
As RadarOnline.com reported, weeks ago she violated a court order requiring her to send them back to Monaco to be with their father Daniel Giersch.
The custody war between the feuding parents continues to rage in the Monaco courts.
