Terrified Kelly Clarkson has bought a trained attack dog to protect her family, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned, after thieves ransacked her home late last year! The Voice judge, 36, coughed up $80,000 for a police canine and plans to buy two more after a break-in at her California rental home last year, sources said. "Kelly will do anything to protect her babies!" a source confessed to RadarOnline.com. "They were in harm's way once, and she'll never let that happen again!"
The "Stronger" singer has two children with hubby/manager Brandon Blackstock, daughter River, 4, and son Remy, 2, and step kids Savannah, 17, and Seth, 11.
She's made sure the family's new $8.5 million modern farmhouse in Encino will be impenetrable by enlisting a team of trained K-9s to patrol the grounds, insiders said.

"Her dog cost up to $80,000 and she is looking at buying two more to fully protect her family," dished a source close to the former "American Idol" winner and "Voice" coach.
"Her neighborhood also has 24-hour dedicated security and armed response."
Ali Hemyari, the training director at Nashville K-9, confirmed Clarkson purchased her first police dog from his Tennessee-based company, and called her a "valued client."
"Protection dogs are trained at a higher level than even police dogs for up to two years," he said.
"They typically cost $60,000 to $80,000 each and can deal with car hijackings, home break-ins and protecting tour buses and airplanes."
