After his return to Twitter, Kanye West’s account has been a fertile source of thought-provoking tweets. The “Famous” rapper has been tweeting non-stop and hasn’t been afraid of sparking controversy with his philosophical and motivational musings as well as politically-charged tweets. Twitter had never witnessed a stream of consciousness of that magnitude from a celebrity of that caliber before, but not everyone was amused. West expressed some love for President Trump, called him his “brother,” and shared a photo of his “Make America Great Again” hat signed by Trump with a sharpie, and the world pretty much melted down.
Mr. West needed only several tweets in less than 280 characters each to accomplish something other celebrities can’t do with their feuds, hate-charged disses and rants about their frenemies and explosive interviews. Kanye West is all about love and free-thinking, and it definitely attracts people, which is how Yeezy gained more than 8 million Twitter followers in less than 24 hours, according to SocialBlade.
