“Chris wants no part of the show,” a source close to the Teen Mom 2 stars told RadarOnline.com.
They share son Lux, 1, who was born in August 2017, but he has refused to showcase their relationship on the show.
“It doesn’t mean he’s going to miss major events that have cameras there such as Kail’s launch party for her Pothead haircare line,” the insider explained.
RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that the couple posed together on the red carpet at her latest event. Despite MTV filming, Lopez remained off camera, the source said.
“At one point, Kail wrapped her arms around him and hugged him for a while,” a spy-witness told RadarOnline.com about the PDA at her haircare launch party.

“For three seasons Chris has stood firm in his decision not to film or be a big part of the show,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
MTV dangled cash in front of Lopez, but he still wasn’t interested. “Despite any checks offered, despite getting a following on social media or any of that stuff, he still said no,” the insider confirmed.
“He has no interest in it and is not going to be doing it,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “Kail is supportive of and respects Chris’ decision not to take part in the show.”
Lowry called Lopez her “first true love” on her blog. She is working hard at their relationship without MTV cameras capturing their ups and downs.
