The Biebs and his new wife Hailey Baldwin were snapped while driving to their pastor's home on Thursday afternoon, just moments after news broke of his ex's mental breakdown and hospitalization.
Gomez was allegedly admitted to the hospital twice this week, first for suffering a horrific breakdown and the second time due to a panic attack over her low blood cell count.
Friends and family urged Gomez, 26, to seek treatment, realizing that her health concerns grew much stronger after BFF Demi Lovato’s near-fatal overdose.
A source told RadarOnline.com exclusively Bieber still deeply cares about his ex — and he even tried to contact her after learning about her breakdown and hospitalization.
Gomez's mother Mandy "thinks Selena’s breakdown partially has to do with her heartbreak over Justin,” the source said.

Meanwhile, another insider told RadarOnline.com her family believes her recent admitted drinking and partying may have led to her mental and very serious physical health problems.
“Doctors have all told her she needs to stop,” the insider claimed. “Her family says she needs to stay sober, or she could die.”
