Heartbreaking Farewell! Sad Teresa Says Goodbye To Prison-Bound Joe

Teresa Giudice has already served her time. But on the morning of March 23, RadarOnline.com has learned that the 43-year-old Real Housewives of New Jersey star had to say goodbye to her husband Joe, 43, as he headed off to check into the Federal Correctional Institution located in Fort Dix, New Jersey.

Sources close to the RHONJ couple told RadarOnline.com that Joe planned to leave his family home after his daughters Gia, Gabriella, Audriana and Milania headed off to school for the day.

According to NBCPhiladelphia.com, Joe's attorney Miles Feinstein said that the reality star could get off for good behavior after 35 months.

Sources also told RadarOnline.com that Teresa will spend the next few days filming and talking about Joe's departure. "Teresa will be filming with her friends talking about Joe leaving and how it's effecting her," a source said.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the days leading up to Joe's federal processing were filled with sad goodbyes.

On Monday night, the Giudices' closest family and friends gathered for a farewell celebration so that they could share final moments with "Juicy Joe." "Only Joe's closest friends and family were invited," a source told RadarOnline.com.

While the cameras have been rolling since Teresa herself ended her 11-month sentence in December, producers took a break from filming Monday night. Multiple sources confirmed to RadarOnline.com that Bravo didn't film Joe's going away party.

RadarOnline.com also reported Joe spent his last weekend as a free man on a romantic getaway with Teresa. "Teresa and Joe went away to Virginia for the weekend," a source told RadarOnline.com. "They just made it into a special weekend especially since Joe is leaving."

Joe's family will be missing him while he is gone. Teresa and their daughters shared loving pictures on social media of the whole family together before Joe said his final goodbye.
